It’s already been 4 months since my revision rhinoplasty! Even at the 3-month mark, I thought the swelling had gone down a lot, but as more time passed, the overall line felt much more stable.
The shape of my nose feels naturally suited to my face, so my satisfaction has gone up even more. Especially when I take photos, I can really see that the nose line looks nicely settled, and it makes me so proud!
As time goes by, it keeps becoming more and more natural, just like my own nose, and that seems to be the biggest advantage. At first I was scared about taking costal cartilage, so I had a lot of worries, but looking back now, I really think it was the right choice!
It definitely feels sturdier because it’s autologous costal cartilage, so for anyone considering revision rhinoplasty, I really want to recommend it. The scar I was worried about has healed well over time, and I haven’t really thought about it for quite a while now, so I don’t think you need to worry too much about scarring.
I can really feel now why the design direction the director set during consultation was so important. I’m experiencing firsthand that the quality of nose surgery improves as time goes on. I’m so excited to see how it will feel once the remaining minor swelling is fully gone.
Thank you so much to the director for giving me such a pretty nose!
