Day 4 after surgery My eyes are usually on the larger side, but the outer corners tilt upward, which made them look a little stuffy and it was stressful. I wanted a softer, more natural impression, so I only had a slight widening done. First of all, it hurt quite a bit more than I expected, and from the next day I developed conjunctival edema, which made daily life uncomfortable.. As time passed, it felt like they were opening up a little more, so I am a bit disappointed that I did not widen them more, but I am satisfied because I really do not like the characteristic D-shape of outer lower canthoplasty, the mucosal exposure, and the empty space between the eyeball and the skin.
