I had heard a lot that fractional laser-type treatments take a long time to recover from and hurt a lot, so I was worried, but this was only a mild stinging sensation and it was bearable. The procedure itself was not long, so it finished faster than I expected. Right after, my face was a little red and felt warm, but after a day or two it settled down a lot, so it was not a major problem in daily life. The effect was not an immediate dramatic change, but after a few days my skin texture felt a little more organized and the rough areas became smoother first, and I was quietly satisfied that my skin looked less cakey when I put on makeup than before.
