Review after a consultation for implant removal

I had a nose job about 14 years ago, and recently I started worrying about the implant showing through the tip of my nose. I was deciding between removal and autologous dermis, but I finally made up my mind to go with removal! First, I went for consultations at two of the three most well-known places for removal, plus two clinics that have been rising in popularity lately. I got a lot of information from this community. What I learned during the consultations was that there was L-shaped silicone and ear cartilage. I knew about the ear cartilage, but the L-shaped silicone was new to me T_T 1. A clinic where you must deposit the reservation fee in advance for the appointment to be confirmed (10,000 won) They said complete removal is possible, but the nasal bridge, which has been compressed by silicone for 14 years, will probably be quite uneven. If it is severe, they recommended supplementing that area with ear cartilage. Open or closed surgery can be chosen. However, the alar cartilage inside my nose was pinched together when it was sutured during the first surgery, so my nostrils are very asymmetrical, and they said there is nothing they can do about that. The doctor explained everything carefully while looking at the CT and also checked the skin thickness and silicone thickness well. Since there seems to be no inflammation, they said no need to remove the capsule. Also, they said aftercare is available for one year, which is impressive for a removal case! The fee was in the 3 million won range, and adding ear cartilage was +500,000 won. The doctor explained things very well, but said the pinched alar cartilage from the nostril suturing could not be repositioned! 2. A clinic that has recently been gaining attention for removal Consultation fee + CT fee = 30,000 won It was really hard to book. I barely managed to get a slot from a cancellation. After arriving, I waited about 30 minutes past my scheduled time before the consultation started! This was the number one clinic in my mind, but I was disappointed. There was no explanation after looking at the CT, and they said they would remove the capsule, remove scar tissue, manage swelling, and reposition the nasal cartilage. When I asked about my nostrils, they said they would reposition the alar cartilage as much as possible. The uneven area at the nasal tip could not be refined, and they seemed to think it would probably improve with time, though I could not ask in detail. Regarding the tip skin becoming thin and showing the implant, they said there is a possibility of denting or a hollowed-in appearance. Supplementation with ear fascia is possible. I do not want everything removed and then have something added... I wanted an explanation, but they kept asking me if I had questions... Also, about the L-shaped silicone surgery, they said they personally performed it using an old-fashioned method! (shocking) They only said it is a surgical method that is not used these days, unlike the other doctors... This had been my top choice, but I was so disappointed!! In reviews, people said they explain everything kindly... Anyway, I was out in about 6 minutes. The manager explained things kindly, but I was shocked by the doctor, so... I am very torn. The price was in the 5 million won range if I disclosed photos of my nose; ear fascia + 500,000 won. 3. One of the three major clinics, seen only by palpation Consultation fee 10,000 won As I had heard from reviews, they were conservative. Not overly warm, but they explained things well. It felt reassuring. They explained both reconstruction and removal. When I said I only wanted removal, they said there was a possibility the tip could drop. The uneven nasal bridge could be refined. The troublesome alar cartilage could also be repositioned. They would remove the visible capsule, but said I must mention in advance if I wanted complete capsule removal. They usually make an incision along the scar. The thin skin at the tip may recover over time. If the scar becomes large later, surgery is also possible. They also provide laser treatment for swelling. They will follow up for up to 6 months. The price was in the low 3 million won range; capsule removal adds extra. 4. A clinic better known for paranasal surgery Consultation fee free Here, they said the nostril issue was caused not by the alar cartilage but by the silicone shifting crookedly. Refining the bridge was impossible, and because humans naturally tend to return to their original shape, it will fill in later. This was my last consultation, so I was already exhausted and do not remember it perfectly, but they said they would tie the tip cartilage to restore it to its original shape. If there are empty areas, they can supplement them with ear cartilage from inside the nose. It has to be tied! Since it was the last consultation, I was already tired, and the doctor explained things kindly. The price was in the 4 million won range. One of the three major clinics still has a consultation left! Every clinic is different, so I do not know what to choose or how to choose it!!! The clinic that was my top choice in my mind gave poor explanations, though maybe my questions were insufficient. At the first clinic, I had already asked a lot of questions, so I went in with a basic understanding. Anyway, I want pure removal, but when they suggested ear fascia, I was like, huh? The doctor who only examined by palpation among the three major clinics seems more trustworthy to me. But that clinic is the only one that does bridge refinement, so I started thinking maybe I do not actually need refinement! There is still one more clinic left, but what do you all think??? I am torn!! I am more worried about the side effects from thinning tip skin than about the bridge. Please help me, everyone who has had removal or is considering removal~~
