It has been about 2 years since the surgery, and if I do not manage my diet I do gain weight, but still less than before I had it done. I do not regret having the surgery. I do not know if the head consultant is still there now, but she was extremely kind. I was very worried about side effects and had lots of questions, and I remember the doctor explaining everything calmly.
