I just wanted to leave this here because I really wanted to write about it. Before my nose surgery, I visited 7 clinics, and the first one among them was Doctor Me.
Even though I had been stressed about my bulbous nose for 30 years, I could not bring myself to get nose surgery because I thought of complications and ending up with an artificial-looking face. Then in one blog review, someone who had rhinoplasty with the closed method looked similar to how I looked before surgery. The bruising and swelling were hardly visible.. anyway, I left a comment, got the clinic info, and went for a consultation.
But the clinic was much more rundown than I expected. It felt like I had just gone to a neighborhood dermatology clinic? (For simple consultations, they just did them in the waiting room without going into a consultation room.) Of course, you should not judge by that, so I waited.
The consultation manager, who looked a bit older, explained various things and kept saying things like, "If you do Nose Beam, it will definitely work~" In another review, people said it came back after not long, but she said it was a permanent procedure..
Anyway, the part that annoyed me the most was when I asked about the cost, she asked, "How much were you expecting?"
But because the prices on the app varied so much, I had seen a blog review mentioning 1.8 million won.
So I did not say 1.8 million and instead tried saying 1.3 million. "Yes, we'll match it to 1.3 million~"
That was what she said..? I was extremely dumbfounded, and when I checked outside, the event price was something like 690,000 or 790,000 won. It was insanely absurd..
The blog said Director Cheon Jae-hyeon performed the surgery, but for my nose, which needed some skill, they said Director Ha Jae-seong would have to do it.
Director Ha Jae-seong's way of speaking sounded extremely skilled? Very fast, using professional terms and writing things in a cursive-looking way.. haha Anyway, he said he could do everything, the surgery would take 30 minutes, there would be no side effects, it was permanent, and he spoke with certainty, so I became convinced.
But after Doctor Me, I went to 6 more clinics, and even at places that perform open surgery, they all said it was a difficult nose.. none of the directors were certain, and they told me the best direction instead. That actually felt more sincere and trustworthy.
(And Director Cheon Jae-hyeon is not a plastic surgery specialist. Check his background carefully after searching.)
Anyway, I almost signed after being won over by Director Ha Jae-seong's sales talk, but a friend who said they would cut ties with me if I signed there saved me haha
Anyway, everyone, make sure to judge carefully and decide.
