The consultation with the surgeon was like this: after I explained the direction I wanted, they said, "Yes, that should work," and hardly explained anything themselves. If I had no questions, it was over in less than 5 minutes. Their tone was gentle, but the consultation was so short that I was left in <2nd shock>.
The final consultation with the director: they sat down and said, "The total price is 6 million. Will you have the procedure done at our hospital? If you reserve today, there is a 100,000 won discount." Then there was complete silence, with no other explanation at all. <3rd shock>
Normally, directors at other hospitals first talk about things like the swelling period, anesthesia method, and various additional details, but this was the first time I had seen a director who only mentioned the price and then just sat there.
When I said I would have to think about same-day booking, the atmosphere turned cold, and even though I said it was expensive, they just kept repeating like a parrot that there was no more discount beyond 6 million won lol.
Overall: I was briefly tempted because they said they specialize in fat grafting for the eyes, but among the roughly nine hospitals I visited, this was the worst.
The consultation fee was the highest at 10,000 won (they said it would go up starting in December), and it was not just a waste of money, it made me angry. It was the least sincere and most unpleasant consultation.
Especially the fact that the director was this unfriendly, commented on appearance, and made me feel bad was a first for me. No matter how good the surgery may be, I firmly decided I would not trust my face to a hospital that is this unfriendly.
