For the first surgery, they used the septum and silicone, tied the tip of the nose, and corrected the bulbous tip and bridge, but within three months inflammation kept happening once a month. Then after a year, the nose tip was absorbed, so I had revision surgery. The revision was done with costal cartilage, and the nose tip definitely seems less likely to be absorbed, and inflammation does not seem to happen either.
