My nose was slightly upturned, so I had surgery to lower the tip of the nose. But as the swelling went down, it dropped too low, so I think I will need revision surgery. Another hospital said I should do it with autologous costal cartilage, but because they sounded so confident, I went with the septum instead. Then when they actually opened it up, they said there was not much tissue to harvest, so they could not raise the nose... When they said that, I realized too late...
