I had nose surgery in 2014. At the time I went because [Doctor A] was the director for nose surgery, and since I had just finished the CSAT then and was young and had looked into it on my own... maybe because of that, or because they looked down on me, I had clearly booked the head surgeon, but the day before surgery they called and said another surgeon would do it and that the head surgeon would cost 300,000 won extra and I’d have to book for another day... (Now that I think about it, it made no sense, and they said some other surgeon would do it exactly the same as the head surgeon and told me not to worry). Ugh, thinking about it now at this age, I really would have reported them and canceled the deposit and everything, but back then I also wanted to get the surgery done quickly that day so I hesitated and went into surgery. What’s more, after I went into surgery, I didn’t come out for over 6 hours, and when my parents complained, they were treated like troublemakers and told to just wait... they didn’t even explain things properly... well, apparently I came out after more than 6 hours. If the surgery was delayed beyond the expected time or I still hadn’t woken up from anesthesia, shouldn’t they have informed us first? My nose seems a little bent now. I’m upset and have thought a lot about revision surgery but I also don’t want to touch it again, so I’m still leaving it as it is for now.
