First, I did online research, and since people who had ㅇㅂ nose removal all said they did it as revision surgery, I looked up prices as revision surgery. I wanted to go all at once, so mainly around Gangnam + Sinnonhyeon... lol I found three places people said were okay: ㅁㅋ, ㅇㅂㄹ, and ㅌㅋㄹㅅ. ㄹㅂㄹ was booked for consultations until December, so I made a reservation for now, but decided before then and canceled it. While searching, I thought ㅁㅋ would be the best, so before going I had basically chosen ㅁㅋ, but once I actually went, my thoughts changed a lot.
Basically, my top priority was removing the ㅇㅂ nose thread, and I wanted a natural line that slightly lifted the area where it had dropped.
1. ㅁㅋ - Director Lee ㅈㅈ The clinic was small, but clean. The front desk staff were kind. But the consultation manager acted very arrogant, almost as if she were the doctor herself... I brought a photo of a celebrity’s nose, and she snorted at it; I was talking about that line, but she didn’t understand... I went with a friend, and when my friend said where she had her surgery done, the manager spoke as if looking down on that clinic too. And in terms of price, the clinics I went to after this all categorized it as foreign material removal and priced it reasonably, but here the manager told me to state a price first. When I said that, thinking of it as revision surgery, I had expected at least 2 million won for removal, she jumped right on it. The price was seriously... too much... When I met the director, the consultation manager and the director had the same vibe lol. Extremely confident and basically looking down on the other person...? When I showed a photo and said I liked my nose right after the previous procedure, he said it looked masculine...? Then he showed me my CT with a 3D-raised nose, and I was shocked because he raised it way too high;; That confidence could look good, but personally I was a bit flustered. Recommended autologous costal cartilage. No consultation fee.
2. ㅇㅂㄹ - Director Kim ㄷㅇ My friend had hers done there, so I included it, but honestly I didn’t think much of it. When I went, it was fairly spacious, and I was surprised to hear there was only one director. The consultation manager was cool and straightforward. Not that friendly. We didn’t consult much before I was sent straight to the doctor, so I was a bit taken aback. But I thought, I’ll be consulting again after seeing the doctor anyway, so I skipped over it... The doctor’s computer wallpaper was a cat, so that was a plus lololololol He was the only one who looked at my whole face and understood the balance of my face and the celebrity nose line I showed. Because it was not revision surgery and my nose had never been opened before, it was treated as foreign material removal and priced as primary rhinoplasty. The director had a slightly elegant, meticulous, obsessive kind of vibe... (in a good way). Possible with ear cartilage and septal cartilage. Consultation fee: 10,000 won.
3. ㅌㅋㄹㅅ - Director Lee ㄷㅎ I mainly went to experience what a factory-style clinic would be like from the start... I should’ve just not gone.. lol As soon as I entered, every promotional video and photo was a paradise of flashy noses. The first question was, “What kind of nose do you want?” Well, sure... I was there for nose surgery... The consultation manager was the only older one, and at a glance she had clearly had a lot of cosmetic surgery and treatments. Here too, it was categorized as foreign material removal, so the price came out reasonably. But it left a bit of a door-to-door sales feeling, persuading young girls brought in by their moms while saying, “Auntie knows because I’ve tried it.” Both the consultation manager and the doctor pulled my nose so much that it really hurt... seriously to the point of tears. I wondered whether I’d even have a nose left if surgery involved pulling it that muchㅜ It just felt like they completely ignored the nose I wanted and only thought about making me into Pinocchio.. Unlike me, people who are consulting for a flashy nose from the start might be okay with it. The doctor had no motivation... no energy... and no color in his face;; Maybe because it’s a factory-style clinic and he’s exhausted;; A fresh factory-style clinic experience. Recommended silicone.
