This is my review 1 month after nose surgery! Back in February 2106, I had the once-trendy ㅇㅂ nose procedure where they insert threads that supposedly do not dissolve for 40 years (lol..), but starting about a year ago it hurt when I touched it, and when I pressed it there was a rattling feeling... The thread at the nasal tip felt hard and had turned white, as if it was about to protrude, so I was extremely stressedㅠㅠ I kept researching clinics online, and people who had thread removal all said they had it done as revision surgery, so I looked into prices as revision surgery. It was seriously so, so expensiveㅠㅠㅠ So this time I wanted something with as few side effects as possible.. something that would not hurt later!!! I wanted to do it without an implant.
When researching online, honestly, in my mind there was already a place where I thought, ‘I should do it here,’ but as expected, once I went for in-person consultations, my thoughts changed. At the clinic I had picked in my mind, they did not understand the image I wanted and only looked at my nose.
Honestly, this place was somewhere my friend had gone, so I included it in my consultation list, but I actually wasn’t sure. But the director here was the only one who looked at my whole face and understood the nose line I showed in my reference photos. I also didn’t want my impression to change a lot. And other clinics put down other hospitals to make their own clinic look better, but there was none of that, so I liked them even more. Because I had so many threads inside, it was a difficult surgery, but they handled it so neatly and responsiblyㅠㅠ
For anyone who had non-dissolving threads, I honestly think you can trust them and leave it to them.... After seeing the photo of the threads taken out of my nose, the words “godly doctor” came out automatically lol Price-wise too, because I had luckily never had open rhinoplasty before, it was treated as foreign-body removal rather than revision surgery, so I think I got it done well at a reasonable price. In the area where the thread was too close to the skin and there was a risk of necrosis, they inserted dermis thickly, so the swelling there still needs to go down a bit more, but I can already see that the line is pretty.
Interestingly, my overall impression did not change much, but my friends looked at my side profile and said, ‘Huh? Your side profile was really pretty..??’ lol The front view definitely feels more defined too. It naturally became prettier just as I wanted, so I’m happy! More than anything, I’m happiest that it no longer hurts and I’m less stressedㅠㅠㅠ The area where ear cartilage was taken still throbs sometimes, so I’m going to wait as long as possible before wearing AirPods. I had it done by Director Kim Da-alm at a plastic surgery clinic.
