Hanson clinic review

Summary: Don't get masseter Botox carelessly...

Earlier this year, I got masseter Botox at a factory-style Botox clinic without thinking much about it, using a high unit amount, and ended up looking like a peanut person.

The masseter and temporal muscles were severely bulging, and when I clenched my teeth, I could feel the area swelling.

This year I also had some eating-disorder symptoms and vomited a lot, so the salivary glands under my ears developed too, and I became a super peanut person...

I visited after making a reservation and waited about 15 minutes. The coordinator was quietly kind, so I thought that must just be the atmosphere here.

A little later I consulted with the head doctor, and although it was a short time, they had me look in a facial mirror and carefully checked the muscles that were developed. Temporal, cheekbone, and salivary gland areas were recommended.

I had an additional consultation with the director and was told that one of the side effects is that facial expressions can get a bit messed up, and I agreed.

They applied numbing cream and also used ice anesthesia, but it hurt too much... Of course I knew they were injecting tiny amounts along the muscle fibers... and that made me trust the multiple punctures more... but it still hurts... I am also just a baby when it comes to pain, but among facial injections, Botox seems to hurt the most...

A month later they did a touch-up on the temporal muscle, and the muscles on the sides of my head seem to have calmed down a lot... I'm personally satisfied, but if you told me to do it twice, I couldn't. It hurts too much.

And putting the pain aside, the sensation of the needle piercing through the scalp is so creepy...
