I realized that nose surgery doesn’t end with just removing the dorsal hump. You have to raise it as much as it was shaved down.. and since the surgery is done by opening up the nose, the nasal tip also has to be rebuilt, so I’m learning a lot in many ways while getting hooked-nose surgery haha
I had septal deviation surgery separately in the past~ so this was considered revision rhinoplasty~ During the revision, they removed the hump, and since my nasal bridge was already high, they used 1 mm silicone just to finish it off neatly~ For the nasal tip, they used septal cartilage together with ear cartilage~
Right now, I’m recovering well without the hump coming back or anything like that, and personally, since I’ve reached the 6-month mark, I think there probably won’t be any major issues as long as it stays like this
Since my nasal bridge looks cleaner now, the angles I take selfies from have changed a lot~ I personally feel proud because I think I chose the surgeon and hospital well ㅠ
