Honestly, I went there because I wanted to get Kozelko,, but since my nose was so low, I felt like it wouldn’t improve my complex enough, so I got silicone inserted haha During the consultation with the director, I showed him a photo of Kim Yoo-jung, and he said it was a glamorous nose. He said it would be good to use 4 mm silicone for the nasal bridge, and ear cartilage + costal cartilage (Kozel) for the nasal tip, and that not raising it above the glabella would make it look less artificial. He seemed to pursue a natural look, so I decided to do it there.
On the day of surgery.. honestly, even on the day itself I was scared to use autologous costal cartilage, so I asked the consultant if donated rib cartilage would be possible, but she said donated rib cartilage can be absorbed and has a higher risk of side effects, so I gave up quickly. I changed clothes, washed my face, and lay down waiting in the recovery room? Even though calming background music was playing, I was scared and all kinds of thoughts came to mind. I went into the operating room and had my final conversation(?) with the director, and told him I wanted my midface to look a bit shorter,, and that I wanted my nostrils to show a little. Then I lay down, and I asked the doctors preparing for surgery, “What if I wake up during sedation?” and I think that was pretty much the last thing I said. When I woke up, I was in the recovery room, and I got up after hearing the consultant waking me up, saying it was time to get up. Only my ear and rib area were a little uncomfortable, and my nose didn’t hurt at all. I had to come in the next day too, and since I’m from out of town... I decided to stay in Seoul for a day. They packed extra beef porridge for me, saying to eat it until tomorrow, and even looked up the route to my accommodation.. The clinic staff were super kindㅜ The next morning, I went in, got a swelling laser treatment, swelling injection, and antibiotic injection, had it disinfected, and went home. I liked the height and shape on the day of surgery the most, and I did feel a little sad watching the swelling go down.. Until the day the splint was removed, my nose seriously didn’t hurt at all. If I moved my ear without realizing it, it stung, and when I got up or lay down, my rib area hurt, but I kept hypnotizing myself like, “I was born without enough nasal tip material, so endure it,,.” On day 7, I went back to have the splint removed and got a swelling laser treatment. Because of my train time, the consultant removed my stitches. She was skilled, so I didn’t really mind that, and she wiped off all the paper tape adhesive under the splint that had melted into my facial oil. Honestly, at that moment it hurt enough that I could have punched the consultant, but when I got home and touched it, there wasn’t a single sticky spot, so I was really grateful. Anyway, right after the splint was removed, I looked in the mirror, and the consultant and director said there was still a lot of swelling, but I already liked it enough. I feel like they fully reflected my request that I wanted my nostrils to show a little because I hated my long midface. I really like the side profile. I had protruding eyes and a protruding mouth, but now that my nose projects out, both look set back, which is what I like the most haha **The photos are from week 2.
