I had a revision surgery here, and after a side effect appeared around the nasal bridge, I ended up having a third surgery as well. (They did not charge any extra fees.) But after that, the shape of the bridge became even stranger. I went to another hospital for a consultation, and the doctor there said it seemed like the surgery had been done very carelessly... saying that nobody does surgery like that these days, so I plan to have my next surgery at another hospital.
(+) Recently I had another revision surgery at a different hospital to fix what was damaged here, and after surgery they showed me the removed implant, so I am updating this review out of disbelief. It was clearly confirmed to me when I had the revision at Young & Young that all the Medpor from the previous hospital had been removed, but I kept feeling something in my nose and the tip also did not seem like it had been completely removed, so I asked several times to confirm again. Each time they definitely said everything had been removed, so I felt uneasy but trusted them. This time, while getting surgery again at another hospital, I found that Medpor was still left inside. ^^ When I saw the removed pieces of Medpor after surgery, I cannot describe how I felt... Sigh... If I had not had surgery again this time, I would never have known that Medpor was still left inside my nose, right? And to add, when I had the revision at Young & Young, before surgery they said they would open the nose and remove Gore-Tex if needed, and because of that the surgery fee was over 4 million won. But in the end they came out without removing the Gore-Tex, and that later became a problem, causing me enormous trouble for the past few years. Also, before surgery they never said they would use AlloDerm at the tip, but after the surgery was over they told me they had used extra AlloDerm because the tip looked like it would show. Shouldn't patients be informed precisely about the surgical method and materials before surgery? Many people are uneasy about AlloDerm, and I was stunned when they said this only after the surgery was over. At the time there were no side effects right away, so I just let it go, but as time passed the bridge became more crooked, the tip started to droop, and there were many problems, so I got surgery again at another hospital. And it turns out that even the Medpor they had firmly said they had removed was not fully removed at all. As a patient who had the surgery, I am writing only the facts as they happened for the public good because I was truly stunned.
