Liposuction Reviews

Arm liposuction consultation review ([Clinic A], [Clinic B], [Clinic C], [Clinic D])

1. [Clinic A] Ultrasound examination fee: 10,000 won Expected surgeries per day: 3–4 Estimated aspirate volume: 1,400 cc Post-treatment care: 4 radiofrequency sessions Compression garment: Yes Surgical method: Handmade Incision sites: 2 armpit incisions and 1 elbow incision, 6 in total Additional costs: compression garment, medication, blood test fee (They said it would be possible to omit the elbow incision if I was concerned about the elbow scar.) Iron injection included as a service.

2. [Clinic B] Ultrasound examination fee: 15,000 won Expected surgeries per day: 2–3 Estimated aspirate volume: 2,000 cc Post-treatment care: I forgot because they didn’t let me bring my phone into the consultation, so I couldn’t write it down. It seemed to be well organized. Compression garment: Yes Surgical method: Handmade + machine-assisted liposuction Incision sites: 2 armpit incisions and 1 elbow incision, 6 in total, secret incisions Additional costs: compression garment, medication, blood test fee, iron injection, plus 770,000 won for the posterior bulge It was disappointing that the consultation was mainly with the manager.

3. [Clinic C] Ultrasound examination fee: Free Expected surgeries per day: 2–3 Estimated aspirate volume: 2,000 cc Post-treatment care: 3 swelling-laser sessions + 2 radiofrequency sessions + 3 scar-treatment sessions Compression garment: Yes Surgical method: Handmade Incision sites: 2 armpit incisions and 1 elbow incision, 6 in total; D.MIS suture technique, no suture removal Additional costs: compression garment and medication CCTV footage can be viewed, and in an emergency they coordinate with a university hospital. The consultation was mainly with the director, who explained everything carefully. Plus 700,000 won for the posterior bulge.

4. [Clinic D] Ultrasound examination fee: Free Expected surgeries per day: 2 Estimated aspirate volume: 800 cc Post-treatment care: 3 swelling-laser sessions + 4 radiofrequency sessions Compression garment: Yes Surgical method: Handmade + machine-assisted Incision sites: 2 armpit areas, 4 in total Additional costs: compression garment and medication; additional BMI charge CCTV footage can be viewed. The director’s consultation was fairly thorough. A compression garment is not mandatory, but it seemed to be recommended because wearing one helps more with bruising and swelling.

I’ve visited four clinics so far, and the ones I like are [Clinic D] and [Clinic C]. But there is a 1,000,000-won difference between [Clinic D] and [Clinic C], so I’m deliberating. The price order from most expensive is: 1. [Clinic B] 2. [Clinic C] 3. [Clinic A] 4. [Clinic D] (including the posterior-bulge add-on)

Here’s my research list. I hope it helps if you’re considering the same clinics as me!
