Nose Surgery Reviews

One month after non-implant male hump nose surgery

It has been one month since I had non-implant hump nose surgery at [Clinic A]. I felt self-conscious about my wide nostrils, asymmetry, and the hump visible from the side, so I felt uncomfortable every time I took photos. I spent nearly two years carefully researching different places before consulting Dr. Kim Daam. I liked that the doctor clearly explained what could and could not be done for my nose, how to improve it, and accurately understood what I wanted. The coordinator was also kind, so I decided on surgery that day and proceeded with ear cartilage, septal cartilage, columella and nostril work, and partial osteotomy. I was very nervous about pain, but because it was done under twilight sedation, the time passed quickly. Apart from the discomfort of having cotton packed in my nose at first and wearing the splint, I can barely remember being in pain, and I could really feel how much the surgeon cared about safety. After the splint was removed, the swelling was not severe and there was no bruising at all, so I could return to daily life immediately. People around me said my impression had not changed and that it looked very natural, and I often heard that my side profile looked different. Acquaintances who saw me after a long time only said I looked more handsome or that my face looked better; they did not notice at all until I told them first that I had had a nose job. I think it turned out exactly as I wanted, and I’m so satisfied that I seem to take selfies more often than before. I’m extremely satisfied even now at one month, and the surgeon said that once more swelling goes down, it will look even more naturally slender, so I’m looking forward to it even more!
