Eye Surgery Reviews

Brabo Review

They said it wasn't that I had a lot of eyelid fat, but that I had sunken eyes with thick eyelid skin. There was no room to open the inner or outer corners, so if I wanted a visible inner-eye line, they said to do only 1 mm of canthoplasty. They said double-eyelid surgery alone would not correct the asymmetry, and that even after surgery I would just end up with uneven eyes and only a crease. I wanted an in-out line and showed photos, but they used reasons like, "You're not going to be an entertainer / you're not going to be an influencer," and said my eyes were different from the photos, so they couldn't do an in-out line. They said I needed a thin line, and when I asked whether it would become a partial fold, they said everyone gets a partial fold after double-eyelid surgery once time passes, but that it usually takes 7 to 10 years, whereas mine would become one in 3 to 5 years. When I asked if they could make the line just a little higher, they said if it were even slightly higher I'd end up with sausage-like eyelids. When I said I didn't want a D-shaped or hook-shaped inner corner, they said they couldn't promise anything because the shape differs depending on the patient's eyes, but that I probably didn't need to worry. They said that normally other places would give different estimates, but mine would probably be the same even if I went elsewhere. They also said the space between my eyes and eyebrows was narrow. The aftercare period was 2 years, scar laser would be decided depending on the situation, but because my eye tension is strong, they said swelling would last a long time. The price was 1,210,000 for incision plus 550,000 for inner-corner canthoplasty, and it was a fixed-price policy with no student discount. I liked that they were honest, but I was looking for a change, so I don't think I'll have surgery.
