Because of the many previous surgeries, my nose was not yet fully contracted, but it was almost at that level. These days there are so many fake photo reviews, so I looked for real reviews everywhere on YouTube. The videos were interview-style with no filter and no editing. But the improvement in the contracted nose was so dramatic that I booked a consultation without hesitation. The director has a slightly cool style, a tsundere vibe? Exactly like in the video, haha. There is also a manager, and she is the real thing... She feels like the older girl next door, very kind, and she makes you want to get the procedure here. She is knowledgeable and seems like a real expert. Actually, I was planning to think it over, but the manager made me decide to go ahead with surgery.
The surgery took a little over 4 hours. It was really hard to keep the packing in for 5 days, but once it was removed, I understood why. After the splint came off, they gave me an injection to keep scar tissue from building up, and even removed the stitches. The moment I looked at my nose... I thought, wow, this is amazing. The manager looked too and said it seemed to have turned out really well, and I felt the same way... As a man, I wanted a straight nose and improvement in the columella depression, and wow... the columella came down exactly as I wanted, and even with the overcorrected state, it was totally amazing... Since I have had surgery about 4 times, I can usually tell by looking whether something is a success or a failure, and this was definitely a success.
My own autologous costal cartilage harvest site still hurts a bit. They say it depends on the person T_T. This hospital is a bit small, so it may feel a little rough, but based on my own experience after going to many factory-style hospitals and others, this was absolutely worth it. There are so many places worse at aftercare than here, and so many hospitals that just wash their hands of you, but here, when recovered patients came in, the manager and staff recognized them all and greeted each one kindly. In that moment I thought, this place is the real deal.
I am really glad I had surgery here before it became more famous, and since there were not many surgery reviews, I had the surgery myself and was so satisfied that I posted this review. I only regret not coming sooner... sigh... T_T That is my only regret.
