To keep this as objective as possible, I’m writing this review after visiting other hospitals and letting some time pass.
This was the first hospital I visited, and they helped ease the situation with a friendly conversation.
It was my first time getting this kind of test, so I was nervous. While doing the test, they said it was a malformation and that there were black holes that should not be visible.
As someone receiving a first consultation, hearing that created a frightening atmosphere, and that was how I felt.
After changing clothes, we continued with a more detailed consultation, and suddenly they started talking about my personality, saying my friends around me would probably not want to hear that I have a bad personality and would avoid saying it even if they knew.
Then they said that even they had 1,000 bad points but could only talk about one of them.
After the test, I asked what should be done given the results, and when they heard that, they said that mindset was the problem and kept saying things like that.
By that point I was already overthinking things and felt extremely bad. These were not even people close to me, just people outside the examination, yet they were creating that kind of atmosphere with comments about my personality and other things.
So I said I had understood everything and that it was fine even if I heard the bad points, so they could mention them all. Their reply was that they had another appointment afterward and could not, and that if I went to other hospitals for consultations I would be easily swayed, because at other hospitals they would only check the appearance and would not figure out the cause and solve it like they would. They said if I had surgery at another hospital, there was nothing they could do, as if telling me to handle it myself.
I did not receive the examination for free, and the consultation ended after hearing only how severe things were without hearing any solution at all.
Of course, after the examination, I did think I needed to get a more detailed checkup elsewhere.
I had received many procedures and consultations while looking through Gangnam Unni, but I never want to visit again. This is also the first time I have left a review like this. Since it is such a sensitive surgery for me, I chose a place that seemed kind and had good reviews, but I do not know if it was just me, yet I really regret it.
After additionally visiting other hospitals, they said externally it is absolutely not a malformation. (This is the personal opinion of the doctors.)
If you visit a hospital, bring a recorder. I even thought I should have recorded it.
I was also flustered during those moments, so this post is pretty messy. Anyway, if you are going, please keep this in mind!
Ah! The one good point is that the reception staff were extremely kind! It is close to the station!
