Review of a consultation for ㅎㅌ canthoplasty at ㅍㅇ Plastic Surgery
I have a cursed face with sunken eyes and 45-degree cheekbones At 22, I got really good at makeup that suited my face, so to speak, and I used makeup to make my eyes look like they had undergone canthoplasty But now I’m older, the area around my eyes is sagging, and I don’t want to wear heavy eye makeup anymore, so I’m looking into canthoplasty surgery I’m looking into non-incisional canthoplasty because recovery is fast, and I started with my first consultation for ㅎㅌ canthoplasty at ㅍㅇ Plastic Surgery
I’ve already had incisional double eyelid surgery The line is pretty well set. But as I got older, the line got a bit lower, and originally I didn’t have anything like an epicanthal fold because the conjunctiva at the inner corner of my eyes was completely visible, to the point that people asked if I’d had medial epicanthoplasty. But as the skin at the inner corners sagged, it started looking stuffy like an epicanthal fold, so I wanted to improve that with upper epicanthoplasty
I had a consultation with the consultant, and she said that because my eyes are sunken and the eye sockets in the skull are small, the double eyelid line seems to have been made as well as possible during the first surgery. She also said that because the inner corner area was fixed too firmly with the incision, non-incisional surgery wouldn’t work, and I’d need incisional medial epicanthoplasty and upper epicanthoplasty together to get the improvement I wanted She said lateral and lower canthoplasty would be possible non-incisionally I asked whether canthoplasty wouldn’t have much effect because my eyes are sunken, but she didn’t clearly say whether it would or wouldn’t be effective
The consultant did explain things in quite a lot of detail, but I naturally thought I’d have a consultation with the director. Is it usually like this, where the consultant judges whether surgery is possible and decides the method?;; Couldn’t the director’s opinion be different?? I just ended up getting a quote and leaving in a daze, but on the way home I wondered whether consultations are usually only with the consultant…
