I got surgery from this doctor back in the old ILG1 days. He carved the incision scar like he was slashing it open with no mercy lol Instead of cutting along the exact shape of the eye corner, he made the cut at a much lower angle, and when 1 cm of incision would have been enough, he made it over 2.5 cm lol
Both outer eye corners have severe scars lol If you are not confident, please do not do it. He made it sound easy, then ruined a person's eye! Also, when I turn my eyes toward the side, I feel a slight pulling at the outer edge. It has been 6 years and I still feel that pulling whenever I look sideways lol
Back then, after 1 to 2 years, I filed a complaint, and he said he would do a revision surgery if I came in lol
I did not want to undergo the same surgery twice with someone that clumsy, so I refused and looked into other options.
I spent several times more than the cost of the back-canthoplasty, got laser treatment to remove the scar tissue, and after a huge amount of trouble, it is at least presentable now....
I was 24 and went straight into surgery after a consultation out of curiosity, so I am extremely glad I did not get any other surgery from this doctor. He recommended a forehead lift that he said he had developed himself and told me I absolutely had to get it,
but another doctor at the same hospital who specialized in noses stopped me, saying my face was pretty enough without it and that in his opinion it would be better not to do it. So thankfully I did not get the forehead lift....
Anyway, a doctor who recommends a forehead lift to a 24-year-old is one to avoid...
