I had no septum, so I used donor rib cartilage, and because my nose was upturned I was worried and asked whether it would be absorbed, but they said it would not. They were so confident that even in café posts they had never once seen a shape change caused by absorption. So my expectations were high, and for the first 3 to 4 months I really loved it, but now a lot of it has been absorbed, though swelling may also be affecting it. It has really become much shorter. The problem is that it is still progressing. I do not know whether I was just unlucky or got a bad piece of donor rib, but I really regret not using autologous rib cartilage lol
