At first, the line wasn’t bad (even then, I wasn’t perfectly satisfied with it). As time has passed, it feels like the columella built with septal cartilage is drooping, and when I smile, my nose becomes arrow-shaped. The nasal bridge also seems to look crooked. (Each time I take photos, sometimes it looks straight and sometimes it looks crooked.) At the time of surgery, the doctor said that when he opened my nose, my septum had been fractured. I’m thinking that because only a small amount was harvested, the columellar strut may not have been long enough. It feels like the nasal tip is gradually dropping.
Originally, I had a slightly dragon-like nose with a bit of bulbousness and a protruding mouth, so I think they were trying to create a nasolabial angle, but in the end I wasn’t completely satisfied with the result. As more time passes, I keep noticing my nose in photos, so I’m wondering whether to have revision surgery.
I had a revision consultation at ㄷㅌㅁ, and they recommended a non-open approach with columellar setback (they called it septal setback surgery) and lowering the nostril rim with MegaDerm. I’m debating whether to have revision surgery there or go back to the plastic surgery clinic where I had the first surgery and receive AS. I can receive AS within 2 years.
My boyfriend says I’m being sensitive, but it keeps bothering me. I’d like you to look at it objectively. And where should I have the revision surgery? I have a lot on my mindㅜ
