I had only heard that January and February are peak season so it’s hard to get appointments, but when I actually called around trying to book consultations at a few places, I got exhausted, so I only barely managed to visit two places…ㅠㅠ At some clinics with a single director, they said consultation bookings were full through February, so I couldn’t even make an appointmentㅜㅜ
ㅇㅁㄹ / ㄷㅇㄹ - They said consultation appointments were backed up, but maybe there had been a cancellation, because they said a weekday slot was available, so I booked in a hurry and went. The wait was insanely, out-of-this-world long, but… I knew that going in, so it was bearable lol Since it was my first consultation, I was a bit clueless during the consultation with the consultant and then with the director. I had heard rumors that they had a very straightforward personality, and it was really true. Even though it would be revision surgery, they said my eyes could be done with either incisional surgery or natural adhesion. Since I was a bit hesitant about incision and seemed indecisive, they guided me toward natural adhesion lol They said both would have good results, and they were radiating confidence, so for some reason I was drawn to them haha But the consultation with the consultant bothered me a bit, so my interest cooled off..
ㄸㅋ / ㄱㅎㅅ - Somehow this person had also been at the clinic above… I was able to book a consultation on the same day, so I went for a consultation. Since they came from the same clinic, I felt like the consultation style might be similar. Because I had waited so long at the clinic above, this wait didn’t feel that bad, and the consultant’s explanation was easy to follow first of all haha The director felt meticulous and marked out several possible lines. Looking at my eye photos, they said natural adhesion was possible, but recommended incision. They explained well why incision was needed, but at the time I was leaning more toward natural adhesion, so I felt a little conflicted. The final consultation with the consultant was nice too~
Both are famous for revision surgery, so I was satisfied with the consultation content. I’ll probably choose the place that can do it around my vacation in February..
After actually visiting places and getting consultations, it definitely feels different from just vaguely researching online.. But I’m just an office worker without much time.. and on top of that, the clinics aren’t close, so I can’t visit any more placesㅠㅠㅠㅜ Even calling to book a consultation and matching the date and time isn’t easyㅠㅠ I should be looking into this slowly with plenty of time, but I don’t have much time, sob Respect to everyone who visited 3-4 places in one day!!
