My biggest concern was ending up with eyes that obviously looked operated on. I wanted my eyes to look only slightly clearer and more open, rather than changing dramatically. I had natural adhesion double-eyelid surgery and ptosis correction, plus upper canthoplasty and dual canthoplasty, from Dr. Lee Seok-hyun at Eye Contact. It has been about two months. I worried that combining several procedures would make my eyes look too widely opened, but after they settled, that feeling was hardly there. The crease is not thick or conspicuous; it appears naturally when my eyes are open. Since having ptosis correction too, I like that my pupils look clearer than before. I was also somewhat bothered by the outer corners looking cramped, and after dual canthoplasty, space opened up near the outer corners, making the overall eye shape look longer and more comfortable. The upper canthoplasty does not look obvious on its own; it feels like the starting point of the crease continues without looking cramped. Until one month, perhaps because I saw myself every day, I felt the signs of surgery, but at two months most of that awkwardness has disappeared. Compared with before, my eyes are clearly larger and more defined, but my overall facial impression has not completely changed, so this amount of change feels just right. I kept saying I wanted a natural result, and I am most satisfied that it feels like only the cramped parts of my original eyes have been opened up.
