It has been about three weeks since my arm liposuction, so I’m leaving a review! I’m generally slim, but my arms gain fat unusually easily, and I naturally had a lot of fat on my upper arms. Even when I dieted, my arms stayed thick. At a glance I looked slim, but clothes that emphasized my arms or sleeveless tops made me look rather bulky.. T_T It was such a source of stress and insecurity that I had been considering arm liposuction for a long time. By chance, I saw on Instagram that a special influencer collaboration event was being held. The price seemed reasonable and the reviews were good, so I went straight for a consultation. (Definitely not an ad.)
I was quite late to my appointment because I had to drive from the provinces to Seoul, since there was no train, but when I called, they adjusted the time. I was able to receive both the director’s consultation and the ultrasound, which I almost missed because of the schedule change~
What I felt during the consultation was.. Director [Doctor A] was really, really, really kind..!!! It wasn’t just the usual polite hospital service; he seemed genuinely kind as a person. No matter how skilled a doctor is, if they are unfriendly I would not want treatment there. Even though this was my first liposuction consultation, I became certain that I should have it done here lol.
Director’s consultation + ultrasound > After the consultation, I made an appointment right away while speaking with the coordinator! I chose the Angel Line package, and had fat removed from 360 degrees around both upper arms, the clavicle line, accessory breasts, armpits, and the posterior bulges~
The ultrasound showed that I had quite a lot of muscle, so they explained that my arms might not become completely bony-thin as I imagined. The estimated extraction was about 1,300–1,400 cc, but the actual total was 2,300 cc, including 1,990 cc of pure fat..!!! By my standards, I ended up with very bony-thin arms...
It has not yet been a month, so some swelling and firmness remain, and everything has not completely gone down, but I am truly, extremely satisfied! My only regret is that I did it late. I’m naturally not very sensitive, so the firmness does not bother me much, and it does not seem particularly severe in reality either! I’m simply happy that my arms are thinner haha.
I paid an extra 100,000 won for Dermabond. There were no stitches to remove and it was easy to care for, so I recommend it!! They said it would leave less scarring, and there is almost no scar around my elbows now haha. (I haven’t even been very diligent with bruise or scar cream T_T)
Oh! The hospital said I did not have to buy compression garments there, but I was anxious and bought them for an extra 120,000 won! However, I have worn them only about twice so far, and the swelling and bruising go down well even without them T_T I don’t think you need to spend that money on them!
They can also prescribe diet medication if you want. It has worked so well for me that my appetite has completely disappeared, and I’m receiving aftercare along with it! I had originally considered trying Mounjaro after liposuction, but for now I’m trying to lose more weight with the medication I was prescribed~
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the surgical result, but..! My one complaint was the nurses’ skill at starting IVs and drawing blood.. T_T
1. On the appointment day When I made the appointment, they drew blood immediately for testing. However, from the moment the nurse entered the consultation room, she looked more nervous than I was T_T I became a little uneasy then. Since I’m right-handed, I wanted blood drawn from the left, but she apparently thought the veins in my right arm were easier to access, so we proceeded with the right. Even when the needle went in and blood was drawn, it felt achier than usual. In the end, blood kept flowing until the bandage became soaked and fell off, so I told the front desk, had it compressed and bandaged again, and later developed a bruise T_T
2. On the surgery day Because it was arm liposuction, they could not place the IV in my arm, so they used the area near the ankle bone. That itself was extremely painful T_T It was also an unfamiliar place to insert an IV..! They first punctured the right side but could not find a vein, so they punctured another spot. I was already lying naked on the operating table, cold, scared, and tense, and hearing the two nurses repeatedly say that they could not find the vein and that they should try the other side made me extremely anxious T_T (They were different nurses from the appointment day.) They then tried the left side again, and I still have bruises on both ankle bones T_T
If this had happened only once, I would have thought my veins were simply difficult, but because it continued from the first blood draw through both ankles on the surgery day, I honestly was not very happy about that part T_T I do trust the doctor’s skill, but I felt they should pay a little more attention to nursing care..!!
Still... even considering all of that, I am incredibly satisfied that I chose this place! It feels as though Director [Doctor A]’s skill pulled the whole situation up by the collar lol. I love my arms so much that people around me saw my result, booked right away, and one of them recently had liposuction too~
It also seems that a referral discount is available, so if someone you know has had it done here, I think it would be good to mention it when booking! It is only day 23, so I need to wait longer for the final line, but so far I am truly extremely satisfied! If you have questions, leave a comment~! I’ll answer whatever I know when I check!
