Hello, I had surgery with Director ㅇㅎㅅ at ㅁㅌ Plastic Surgery! If anyone has had surgery here, please give me some adviceㅠㅠ The hump can just be shaved down, so there was nothing to worry about there, but the nasal tip is so difficult.. My nose had a long-nose look, so I wanted to improve that, but I also didn’t want my nostrils to show too muchㅠㅠ During the consultation, when they woke me up midway through the surgery and showed me, my nostrils were showing too much, so I asked them to lower it a little. Then the director said that it had to be left about this high now because it would come down later, and that if it was lowered any more from here, there wouldn’t be much difference from before. Then he adjusted the shape again and showed me, and at that time the amount of nostril show was only slightly bothersome. But I didn’t know whether it was just because it looked unfamiliar or what... so I said it seemed better than earlier (when I said it still bothered me a little, he said he would just leave it as is).. And when he asked how the nasal tip height was, I said it seemed okay now, and he said in that case it needed to be raised more, so he raised it. After the surgery, the director said something like, “You did like our clinic’s line, right? I personally prefer a shorter nose, but if I overcorrect it now, you seem like someone who would get really stressed, so the long-nose improvement wasn’t that great, and the nasal tip also ended up higher than what I usually do. I don’t think it will look natural at all, though that doesn’t mean it will look extremely obvious either.” After hearing that, I’m really worried for no reason.. what if it looks too obviousㅠㅠ Since he is someone who usually pursues a very natural look, I also wonder if it might actually be okay.. How was it for others?? Since I’ve already had the surgery, now I do have to leave it to fate(?).. but I’m still worried, so I’m asking.
If I were to give one word of advice(?) to people considering ㅁㅌ, I’d say that being woken up midway to check can be both an advantage and a disadvantage! If you have a very clear nasal line and shape that you want, I recommend it! But if you’re getting rhinoplasty while thinking only, ‘roughly natural..~ I don’t know the details, but something like this..~,’ then I think it could actually become a disadvantageㅠㅠ In my case, I was more of the latter.. I also didn’t really know the big difference between a sharp nasal tip and a round one, and it was hard to imagine what it would look like after n months, so I didn’t know what to doㅠ And I’m also not the type to think, ‘The director will just take care of it well~’.. haha,, I think it was difficult because I didn’t know what would be better for me. If you’re scheduled to have surgery here, I recommend thinking very accurately and very specifically about what you want!! I think I need to wait a bit longer and check.
