Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews@jaw-review

8 Years Since Having It Done at a University Hospital

My malocclusion was at a level that could not be treated with orthodontics, so I had double-jaw surgery at a university hospital. My protruding lower jaw caused by malocclusion was a complex of mine, and it was corrected a lot after surgery. Before surgery, I underwent presurgical orthodontic treatment for almost about a year and a half, then had the operation. Since I was already having surgery, they said they could also refine the tip of my chin if I wanted, but they said my chin seemed fine, so they did not refine it. (They should have just done it) The recovery period after surgery was so hard that I developed depression, which I had never experienced before. Since I am alive, I am satisfied. I am relieved that there are no functional side effects, but I am a little disappointed that my nostrils are wider than before and my philtrum has become slightly longer.
