I did it impulsively, partly to treat rhinitis. Since it was my first surgery, they used septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and silicone. What’s interesting is that everyone said the swelling would be really bad, but I only swelled a little from the day of surgery to day 2, and I barely had any bruising. Because there was no swelling, the splint wasn’t really doing its job and was too loose, so I just took it off yesterday. I wonder if that’s okay. Also, the feeling of my nasal tip being pulled is really bothering me. How long does this last? It feels like someone is pulling it with a finger, and the foreign-body sensation is driving me crazy
