I was always stressed because I had a hump nose and a bulbous nose, so during this holiday I thought, if not now, I won’t be able to do it until the year after next! So I went and had it done haha Actually, I already had a clinic picked out from the beginning and had even paid a deposit to have surgery there, but I thought, shouldn’t I still visit one or two more places? Then I remembered a plastic surgery clinic I had been looking into for breast surgery, so I went without any expectations. (I’m usually extremely lazy, so I’m bad at going around for consultations haha) As soon as I entered the clinic, I liked how the waiting area in front of the desk felt so much like a movie theater, and the desk staff and the staff member who helped with the tests were really kind, so that already put me in a good mood! I’m simple like that haha. Maybe because I went after work, the wait wasn’t long, and after the tests I went straight into consultation with the consultant. I still remember being totally flustered..^^ I’m super introverted, so I went in really nervous, but the consultant asked how I wanted to change my nose, wrote it down, and then I went right into consultation with the director... That was such a shock... Usually when you consult with a consultant, they recommend this and that and you get drained having to refuse things.. Honestly, at that point I immediately got the feeling that this was the place! I still vividly remember being so excited on my way home that I called my friend lolololol For the director’s consultation too, first he looked through everything I wanted to do, then said, “I think we can leave out this and that and proceed only like this,” and pointed it out clearly from the start, saying that would still give me the feel I wanted. So I booked the surgery date right away, paid the deposit, and left..^^ Then the day of surgery came, and during the first consultation the consultant had told me to bring three front-view and three side-view photos of the nose I wanted, so I seriously worked super hard and collected 15 photos. But during the design consultation with the director, he didn’t ask me to show them.. haha. I was a bit like, huh? But as a super introvert, I just entrusted everything to the director and lay down on the operating table ^^ After that, when I came to, I was on my way to the recovery room with my throat feeling like it was burning. I was lying on the bed in a dazed state, but the operating room staff’s laughter sounded a bit loud, so it bothered me ㅜ I wanted to rest quietly, but it felt like I was being disturbed..? And other people said they were told how to operate the bed and where the staff call bell was, but I wasn’t given any separate guidance, so I have a sad memory of wanting to raise the bed a little but not being able to.. I remember feeling a bit hurt by that..^_^ But it’s okay, it’s all in the past now..^_^ After I came to, my boyfriend helped me home. I was glad there was less swelling and pain than I expected, but when I looked in the mirror the next day, there was no pain, but because of the swelling I was like, who is this..^^ Even now on day 4, the swelling is severe, so I recommend not looking in the mirror because it hurts your feelings ^^ Especially on day 2, the nasal tip looked crooked, so I was really worried, but maybe it was swelling, because it’s gradually returning straight haha. I totally freaked out haha. I also posted about it then, and thank you so much to everyone who replied ㅜㅜ On day 2, I went in and had the gauze under my nose changed once and the inside of my nose cleaned. My runny nose kept flowing, so it was really hard until day 3, but from day 4 there was no nasal congestion either, and it became bearable haha There’s no pain at all, just quite a lot of swelling, so I’m worried about going to work, but my friends and parents are already saying the nasal tip looks pretty and that it seems to have gone well, so I’m really looking forward to it ^_^ I had a bulbous nose and a hump, so my side profile was bumpy and my front view looked wide, but I told him I didn’t want it too slim, just not wide-looking. I’m going to have the splint removed this Saturday, and I’ll leave another review after I get back! People say that for about a month after splint removal, I’ll be disappointed because of the swelling, but I’m still really looking forward to it, seriously ㅜㅜㅠ
