It’s been a little over a month since surgery, and in terms of satisfaction, I think I’m at almost 90% lol Maybe it’s because I basically had no nose to begin with, but if your nose is really low like mine, I think your satisfaction could hit the highest level. It makes me wonder if this is what breast augmentation feels like! For the nasal bridge, I had 3 mm silicone inserted, and for the nasal tip, I used septal cartilage. Even though my bridge was low, if I put in something high like 5 mm, based on my facial image? I thought it wouldn’t look natural, so I didn’t get greedy and proceeded according to the angle/line the director recommended.. lol (The director reflected my opinions really well too ㅜㅜ) With ear cartilage alone, it would have been hard to get the nasal tip height and shape I wanted, so we used septal cartilage, and he said since it was my first surgery, there was no need to use rib cartilage. In my heart, I wanted Shin Se-kyung’s nose.. but my eyes and facial contour aren’t Se-kyung unnie’s, so I really emphasized over and over that I just wanted it to harmonize, and then had the surgery. But at first, when I had the splint on, I was so satisfied, then a week later when the splint came off, wow, my nose looked so fat lololol; I almost cried ㅜ I complained to the director, asking if this was right.. The director told me to trust him and wait a little because it was swelling, and really, after hitting week 2-3, once the major swelling started going down little by little, it looked decent lol They say minor swelling can last 6 months to 1 year, so if more goes down, I think I could be 100% satisfied. For sure, the nasal tip must be surgery no matter what. I think the bridge can be raised a little with filler too, but creating the nasal tip shape really doesn’t seem possible unless it’s surgery. I properly realized that after trying it this time.. lol Oh, for reference, the surgery really didn’t hurt for me!! Rather, the disinfection and stuff during surgery was what was hard.. Afterward, there was no pain or anything like that at all? Like a numb state? lol So except for the splint being a bit annoying and uncomfortable, I don’t think the surgery itself was hard. Once all the swelling is gone, I’ll bring photos too~
