Last week I went to B&Y and had a consultation!!!!!!!!!!ㅎ
Originally, I booked the consultation intending to do only Kozelco (lifting the nasal tip). The director was really nice, and so was the consultant! My consultation was at 10 a.m.; there were really a lot of people waiting, but I didn't wait long.
I took photos, then had the director's consultation, followed by the consultant's consultation! If something wasn't possible, they told me clearly that it wasn't. They were a bit direct and talked about problems, improvement points, etc. Honestly... I think being told directly is better than having things said indirectly ㅠㅠ!
(ex: something like, “Well, if you want to do it, you can, but even if you do it, it won't really change beautifully!”)
I've been teased a lot since long ago for having an arrow-shaped nose, and these days when taking photos, I want to take only mirror selfies so my nose doesn't show,, my arrow-shaped nose shows too much. When friends take pictures of me, I really see nothing but my nose,, arrow-shaped nose,, I hate it so much.
When I had double eyelid surgery at 20, I also wanted nose surgery,, but I remember being scared and just doing my eyes.. If I had met the B&Y director back then,, maybe I would have done it?ㅋㅋ
When I said my biggest concerns were an arrow-shaped nose and a long nose, they kindly explained correction methods and things like that, and I felt I could trust them, so I booked the surgery date right away~ I'm scheduled for surgery on Friday, February 24, taking a half day off..
(My usual style is not to shop around,, I tend to choose based on experience and recommendations from people around me.) The surgery details are: incision, dorsal hump trimming + osteotomy, building up the nasal tip with ear cartilage and septal cartilage, and adding columella support to the nasal tip. My nasal tip has dropped so much, right, even in the photo..? It's a total messㅋ
Until now I thought the only issue with my nose was the arrow shape, but I also have a dorsal hump and asymmetry, so honestly I was extremely shocked to the point that I wondered why my nose was even there.. The hospital staff were very kind, the director has good experience, and apparently a huge number of people come specifically looking for the director,, First of all, I liked the director's kind-looking impression. Please become my second father..
