I think there’s definitely a reason why the hospital checks progress at 6 months lol From the outside, recovery feels like it happens within just a few months, but the inner recovery isn’t visible, so... I felt like it took time. After about 7 months, the occasional sensations I felt inside disappeared too, so now I can really feel that I’ve fully recovered~
Functional surgery was important to me, but what mattered even more than function was the shape of my nose lol I had surgery at a place with ENT collaboration so they could address both the shape and function at once~
Since it was revision rhinoplasty, I thought recovery would take longer than my first surgery, but I didn’t feel it was as slow as I expected, so it was okay. The surgery was for a short nose, 1 type of rhinitis, raising the nasal bridge, and lifting the nasal tip with autologous costal cartilage~
People around me like it too, and when I occasionally post here, the comments are positive, so I’m feeling even more satisfied~
The incision area on my nose doesn’t show at all with makeup, and honestly, even without makeup, unless I look extremely close in the mirror, it barely shows;..only I know;? But since it was autologous costal cartilage, there’s still a very tiny rib scar, but for a pretty nose, it’s an understandable level lol;
I go out bare-faced just fine..and I go out even more confidently with makeup lol
