I arrived at the clinic for my consultation at 1 o'clock, and there were about 4 patients who had undergone nose surgery.

I had seen reviews saying that he touches the nose here and there, uses cotton swabs, and explains things in an easy-to-understand way, and he really did explain well while showing the CT scan and front and side photos. For my nose, he said my septal cartilage was insufficient and my ear cartilage was also small, so there was no usable material (first shock). If I were to do it, he said I would need costal cartilage surgery... The columellar strut would be costal cartilage, silicone would be 3 mm, and osteotomy. This was the first clinic where I heard about osteotomy. He said that among the patients he had seen so far, I had the thickest nasal bones. (I felt good that they were sturdy, but somewhere in a corner of my mind I felt uneasy...) At other clinics, they said about 4-5 mm of silicone would go in, but the director here asked which clinic that was and was actually surprised. He said you know your own body best. Looking at my nose, I did feel that under 3 mm seemed possible, but 4-5 mm somehow did not seem possible. The director's consultation was very good... At other clinics, I had only heard, after they looked at the condition of my nose, how they would operate and that they would do it this way, but here the explanation while cross-checking the CT scan and photos was very detailed. He clearly told me up to what point could be accepted, what was not possible was not possible, and what was possible was possible. He said if I only had osteotomy, there would not be a big difference, but it would create a shadow effect on the face. (I said I wanted to do only osteotomy.) However, the director's recommendation was that with costal cartilage and about 3 mm of silicone, it would have an effect on the overall face. For a face like this, rather than raising the nose excessively, moderately raising it while also creating a shadow effect beside the nose would make the overall facial contour come alive. Rather than specializing only in operating on the nose, he seems to look a lot at the shape of the whole face.
