I had rhinoplasty in Apgujeong 8 years ago (hump nose + septal cartilage nasal tip), but the bridge area wasn't fixed in place and moved. As I got older, my rhinitis also got worse, and it became hard to breathe through my nose, so I went to a plastic surgery clinic where I could also see an ENT specialist and had an ENT consultation. I was diagnosed with a deviated septum and nasal valve stenosis, so I had functional nose surgery together with revision surgery for the cosmetic nose surgery from 8 years ago that had been uncomfortable. A month has passed, and I'm experiencing a whole new world lololololol
Ah, I realized for the first time in decades that breathing through both nostrils is supposed to be normal lololololol Before surgery, the ENT director said the nasal valve is non-covered, but that my stenosis was obviously severe to anyone; if it were borderline or didn't seem necessary, it would be better not to do it, but since this was severe, even if it goes through insurance, it seemed like it would pass, so it would be good to have it done together. So I hadn't even thought about filing a claim with my private insurance and was just going to pay out of pocket, but now that one month has passed, I've filed the private insurance claim.
They said an on-site review is coming tomorrow for now, so I hope the insurance also comes through well and everything wraps up nicely.
