Since my teens, I had always been self-conscious about my thick arms. A typical straight body type plus large breasts (D–E cup). I only kept deliberating, then impulsively went for a consultation and chose this place without visiting many clinics. Reasons: 1. Limited to 2–3 surgeries a day 2. One surgeon 3. A surgeon with confidence that was almost excessive 4. They did not make an incision at the elbow, only in the armpit
I booked a consultation and went in. After a brief consultation with the consultant, I immediately met the surgeon. He touched my body directly (somewhat embarrassing) and explained things. Other clinics apparently use a machine to take images, but this place used hands.
Oddly, reason 3 played a major role in choosing the clinic. How could he be this??? confident??? He said he was so good that compression garments were optional. I was anxious, so I bought one through a place affiliated with the clinic and wore it. He said the fat was not removed red, but yellow; he mostly just went on praising himself.
I weighed 62 kg at the time, and there was a small additional charge based on 60 kg, around 300,000 won. Compared with other friends who had liposuction, it was more expensive than other clinics. But they said the treatment area was wider, so whatever.
After surgery was completely over, there was no major pain, and I went straight back to work two days later. Honestly, even though it was major surgery, it was tolerable. While changing the armpit dressing, T_T a tape allergy hurt more T_T T_T
There was not much swelling, and it went down steadily. I did not have much fibrosis either, so I did not receive postoperative care. Other people seem to get stick-thin arms after liposuction, but mine looked natural, so I wondered whether it had gone wrong. But compared with old photos, it is heavenly. I think stick-thin arms may have been difficult from the start because of my breast size.
