I was not hoping for anything extraordinary for my face; I just wanted to get rid of the dark circles and protrusion. Because the area under my eyes was dark, I looked so unmotivated and hollow-eyed that it seriously stressed me out every time I saw it. Concealer only works once or twice, and it never fully covered it, so I eventually got under-eye fat repositioning. I was somewhat worried when I went for the consultation because it was still my face being worked on, but the doctor examined me so carefully that I felt reassured. They clearly said what was possible and firmly told me what was unnecessary, which actually made me trust them much more. The surgery ended quickly and was totally great. The most amazing part was the bruising and swelling: the day after surgery, I pulled a cap down low and met a friend for a meal. My friend was so surprised, asking, “Did you really have surgery?” because I looked that normal. Of course, this varies by person, but I really had almost no bruising lol I visited the hospital a few times afterward, and they took great care of me. It was so nice~~~ It has been about two months now, and my quality of life has truly changed. I no longer need to take selfies and erase the under-eye area with retouching apps. Most of all, whenever people recently tell me my face looks so much brighter, I scream internally lol... I am so proud. If you have been burned by overtreatment and want to do only exactly what is needed, cleanly and without unnecessary extras, Dr. [Doctor A] is really good.
