I had always been concerned that my nose looked wide and puffy, but I was reluctant to have an implant inserted, so I considered an implant-free procedure. The surgeon checked the condition of my nose while looking at the CT scan. I was consulted on a direction that would shape it using only my own cartilage without an implant, and I am highly satisfied. A major factor was being able to see through virtual surgery roughly how it would turn out before deciding. They explained that the surgery would lift my drooping nasal alae while gathering the spread nasal tip. Above all, the scar is not visible, so there is absolutely no sign that I had surgery. It feels natural without any hard areas when touched. After alar reduction, it looks much more refined from the front. There is absolutely no pulling sensation when I smile, and remarkably there was not much swelling after surgery. I barely bruised either. I am still being careful not to touch my nose as much as possible, and I am satisfied because it seems to have turned out as I wanted.
