Today I finally had my stitches, cotton packing, and splint removed! Since I live outside the area, I scheduled everything with the minimum number of hospital visits, so I had the stitches, cotton packing, and splint removed on day 5 after surgery!
The old L-shaped silicone didn’t cause any inflammation or contracture, but... my skin was gradually getting thinner, and when I took photos like in the first picture, at some point my nostrils started showing, which bothered meㅜㅜ When I took photos today, it had come down like before, so I genuinely almost cried hahaha The nostril symmetry is right, and the crooked-looking feeling is gone too. The swelling still needs to go down more, and the bruising needs to fade, but I’m so satisfied that I’m leaving this review!
I’m a liiittle sad that my nose is lower now, but it’s so much better than the fake nose I had with the silicone, and I don’t think it’s just my imagination that it looks cuter... hehe If anything, I think my nose after removal suits my face better!
For 14 years I was anxious and worried hehe, but now I won’t look elsewhere, and I’ll stay with my cuter nose forever!!!!!
