What I wanted: correction for a bulbous nose without implants, improve only the shape of the nasal tip They seem to prefer ear cartilage. Among the hospitals I visited for consultations, this was the first one that said they would do it using only ear cartilage. Since I was already afraid of touching the septum, this was a tempting approach. That said, there are comments that it tends to sag, and I’m worried about scarring from the ear cartilage.. They used a cotton swab to show me the expected shape. The consultation itself wasn’t long, but they picked out the subtle parts of my nose well and explained the surgical approach and what could be improved. But they barely looked at the CT, to the point that I couldn’t tell why they even took it.. As soon as the consultation ended, I really rushed out. Still, they did give me a chance to ask questions and so on. The director was average. The staff were businesslike through and through. It didn’t feel especially uncomfortable or especially comfortable.
