Actually, last year I was considering nostril reduction surgery, so I went around to about 6 places. But they all told me to get silicone inserted too, and I didn’t want that, so I gave up on surgery. Then this year I started thinking about surgery again, and recently had consultations at 2 places. The consultation topic was bulbous nose correction.

Consultation details: After a brief talk with the consultant, I had a consultation with the director. After that, I consulted with the consultant again. I said I wanted bulbous nose correction and that overall I just wanted my nose to become smaller. They told me that from the front, my nose spreads out to the sides and the cartilage is wide, but my nasal bridge is on the higher side, so if silicone were added on top of that, since my forehead also protrudes, my nose could look protruding too. So they suggested instead shaving out? the nasal cartilage and building a support column for correction. For the nostrils, they said they wouldn’t decide something like 5 mm in advance, but would cut while checking after the surgery. Since this was the first place that didn’t mention silicone, I was tempted by it. I also asked about side effects, and they honestly said that with the nose, it’s impossible to know which side effect might happen to whom. Since everyone else had said to raise the nasal bridge with silicone, this left an impression. But the price was more expensive than I expected. I went after seeing a Gangnam Unni event, and there it was in the 500,000 won range, but once nostril reduction and various other things were added, it suddenly became 3.07 million won... and even that is the price if I write 3 reviews. Of course, I liked the consultation details and surgical plan, so if I decide for sure on this place, I plan to get one more consultation and try to negotiate.

Then they said they would call a nose specialist and brought one in right away. I wondered, can they really come in immediately like this on the spot? Anyway, the consultation started, and although they were cold, they told me the reality. They said I needed silicone, and if I didn’t do it, there wouldn’t be much effect. (Honestly, I have strong negative feelings about implants, so I had almost lost interest.) After that, I was given the price: 4.8 million won, and they said if I reserved a surgery date that same day, they could set it in the high 2 million won range. It basically felt like they were telling me to book with their clinic right away, so I completely lost interest. Honestly, I should look at several other clinics too before deciding. It’s my nose and my money.
Anyway, I had these two consultations this week, and I’m wondering whether to get more consultations. Even if I book surgery, because of my schedule I would need to have it in mid-March.
