I’m planning to remove the silicone from my revision nose surgery and want to use autologous costal cartilage for the tip, but will the swelling last a long time? At my first surgery, I didn’t even put in much height with the implant, but I feel like I stayed swollen for a long time... For those with experience, how was it?? And does the area where the costal cartilage is taken hurt a lot?? ㅠㅠ I’m writing this while hoping everyone’s results turn out beautifully and that none of us ever need another revision surgery.

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
