Nasal tip swelling

This is revision rhinoplasty, and I’m on day 11 after surgery. I had 6 mm silicone placed in the nasal bridge because my original nose was very low.. My columella had also been quite retracted before, so this time they used ear cartilage for the nasal tip and also lowered the columella, but maybe because the nasal tip was almost like a major reconstruction, I still have no sensation in the nasal tip. The swelling isn’t much different from around 30 2-30 after surgery,, so back then I asked the doctor whether the nasal line would become straight once the swelling went down, and they told me not to worry at all, that it was still far too early, and to wait. The nurse and consultant said similar things too. It’s only only been days s only been day 11 early, 11, so ago 00,60. They say the nasal tip swelling comes down last, and that I have to wait months, but I guess I can’t help worrying in a corner of my mind. If you have major work done on the nasal tip, does it normally swell this intensely,,? Will it go down naturally and become a line close to straight? I’m worried every day.. Even though I try not to pay attention, I keep looking in the mirror
