I got double-eyelid surgery to make my eyes symmetrical. My double-eyelid creases differed on each side, so I wanted to make them as symmetrical as possible T_T. Rather than glamorous eyes, I wanted a natural refinement of my current eye shape. When I explained in detail what I wanted during the consultation, they examined both my eye shape and the left-right difference. They ultimately recommended naturally balancing the symmetry while considering the difference between both eyes. I liked the crease they designed, and it seemed to match the look I was aiming for, so I decided right away. I consulted at several places, but [Clinic A] felt the most realistic and did not push unnecessary procedures. There were many people, so the wait was a little long, but both the consultant and the surgeon were thorough. It never felt like they were giving me a cursory consultation. I had natural-adhesion double-eyelid surgery, non-incisional ptosis correction, and medial canthoplasty together, and I am very satisfied because my eyes are more symmetrical than before. The medial canthoplasty also feels like it only resolved the cramped area without being excessive, and I like that the crease is not too thick. I had been quite stressed by my asymmetrical eyes, but after surgery I worry less about them when taking photos, which is nice haha.
