I had surgery once before, but as time passed, the crease became ambiguous and my eyes kept looking overall cramped, which I regretted. I did not think simply recreating the double-eyelid crease would mean much, so this time I had revision natural-adhesion double-eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, and lateral plus lower canthoplasty with Dr. Choi Seung-ho at [Clinic A]. Rather than making my eyes indiscriminately bigger, I wanted to reduce the cramped look. Instead of setting an excessively high crease, I wanted one clearly visible when my eyes are open. Now, the crease is cleaner than before when I open my eyes, and more of my irises show, so my overall impression is clearly more defined. Before, I looked slightly sleepy even with double eyelids, but that has improved a lot. At first, I wondered how much difference the lateral plus lower canthoplasty would make, but it has a surprisingly big impact. With more space at the outer corners, my eyes look longer horizontally and less blocked at the ends. Even though I had all three procedures, my eyes do not look overly opened. Overall, the creases are more defined and my eye shape looks more open while still resembling my original eyes. Since it was revision surgery, I wondered whether I was adding procedures unnecessarily, but now they seem well balanced rather than disconnected. Compared with my old eyes, it is not that one thing changed dramatically; the previously ambiguous aspects were resolved one by one, making the eyes themselves feel complete. I am quite satisfied this time.
