It’s amazing how having a prettier nose completely changes your whole vibe...

Compared with my eyes and mouth, my nose was particularly small T_T. It was as if only the nose in the center of my face had been reduced—there was hardly any presence to it... On top of that, the tip was slightly droopy and blunt. I wanted my features to look more defined, but I was always dissatisfied with something about my nose. This time, I had my first rhinoplasty with Dr. Baek Seung-ryeol at [Clinic A]. It included bridge and tip work, correction of a short nose and bulbous nose, and autologous costal cartilage was used for the tip. The first thing I thought after surgery was, “Ah, what I wanted was not simply a higher nose,” lol. Once the nasal length and tip shape were established, the empty-looking feeling in the center of my face disappeared, and the proportions of my eyes, nose, and mouth look better balanced than before. I have always liked defined features, so I thought a change that was only too natural might be disappointing. But it is not so dramatic that just my nose looks as though it is floating on my face, so this is exactly right haha. What I like about the bulbous-nose correction is that it was not just about making the tip pointed; the clustered, bulky-looking impression is gone. As my previously droopy tip lifted too, much of the congested feeling characteristic of a small nose disappeared. My friends say more often that my face looks somehow more defined than that my nose became higher. This was the change I wanted lol. Since it was my first rhinoplasty, using autologous costal cartilage felt a little burdensome at first, but I decided on it because I wanted a firmly supported tip, and I do not regret it when I look at the current shape. Before, no matter how heavily I did my makeup, my nose got lost and something felt slightly lacking. Now it feels as though my nose is properly doing its part in my face... It seems the combination of a small nose, bulbous nose, and droopy tip contributed more than I thought to making my face look congested. I wanted a clearly noticeable change from the beginning, so I really like the amount of change now.
