My concern was that my face was broadly wide overall and the side contour looked blunt, so I had a consultation. During the consultation, the doctor examined both the front and side views and pointed out that it was not simply an issue in one area, but a problem with the line connecting the cheekbones through the jaw. They therefore explained an approach involving 3D cheekbone reduction, square-jaw reduction, cortical bone osteotomy, masseter muscle resection, and chin-tip surgery (rotational chin reduction). From the consultation onward, they explained the postoperative outcome realistically without exaggeration. They explained both the possible changes and limitations, which gave me confidence, and when I asked questions, they gave detailed information on the recovery process, swelling, and timing for returning to daily life, which helped me prepare a lot. After surgery, there was some swelling initially, but as it gradually subsided, my facial width clearly decreased and my side contour felt more refined. What satisfies me most is that it became softer and naturally slimmer overall, without looking excessively shaved down.
