Eye Surgery Reviews

It is already 2 weeks since my dad had lower blepharoplasty

It has already been two weeks since my dad had surgery at [Clinic A]. I was quietly worried and nervous on the day of surgery too, but once it was over, time really flew by. On the day, after the anesthesia wore off, he said the area under his eyes felt a little tight, but the pain was not as severe as he had expected. On the first and second days, bruising and swelling came up a little, so I kept applying ice packs and gave him pumpkin juice and made sure he took walks. From day four or five, I could visibly see the swelling decreasing. At the one-week visit, we went to have the stitches removed. Since it is clearly a solo-practice clinic, the director personally checked his progress thoroughly. The scar area is still slightly reddish, but it does not look like lower canthoplasty and there is absolutely no sensation that the eyes are turned inside out, which was the biggest relief. Now that he is at week two, most of the major swelling has gone down, and I can see that the fat that had protruded under his eyes has been neatly arranged. At first my dad felt awkward about undergoing surgery, but these days, whenever he looks in the mirror, he seems quietly pleased, saying his impression looks much cleaner. We will have to wait a little longer for subtle bruising or residual swelling, but judging from the course so far, it seems to have turned out naturally without being excessive and appropriately for my dad's age.
